Highfield have been working with People 1st , the Scottish Government, the SQA and other awarding organisations to review the SCPLH qualification. As a result of this, Highfield will be launching a new SCPLH qualification on 1st December 2020.
On 30th November 2020, the current Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders at SCQF Level 6 (R354 04) will be withdrawn and replaced with this new qualification. A mapping document can be found in the downloads section below; this provides a summary of the differences between the training standards. Highfield will be providing specific dates and further information about exam paper withdrawal over the coming months.
Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at individuals who are involved in the sale of alcohol in both on-sales and off-sales environments.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake 10 hours of learning.
These include an introduction to licensing, the responsible operation of licensed premises and the effect of alcohol consumption on customers and your business.
This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination.
