Pool Lifeguarding
The Highfield Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding (RQF) has been developed in line with the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) HSG 179: Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools, which provides guidance for anyone involved in managing pool health and safety at a pool. This regulated qualification is designed for those wishing to become a pool lifeguard. It is typically delivered through a 1-week course (requiring 40 contact hours) and is valid for a period of 2 years.
