Kickstart Scheme

kickstart scheme

Kickstart is a new £2bn Government-funded scheme designed to create thousands of new 6-month job placements for young people.

The funding is aimed at creating new opportunities for 16 to 24 year olds putting them at the heart of the economic recovery.

Kickstart supports those who have not been in education for some time, those on universal credit, those looking to enter FE for the first time and apprentices who’ve found themselves out of work.

Can your business meet the requirements and benefit from Kickstart?

  • 100% of the National Minimum Wage for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months

We can support your Kickstart integration with several whole qualifications and units relevant to the Kickstart journey.

Ensure your Kickstart learners are ready for work with our personal development for employability qualifications. Awards, certificates and diplomas from entry level 3 to level 1 and 2 available.

Our personal development for employability units include...

Many of these units are resourced in our Highfield Kits, which provide easy to use textbooks and clear workbooks that can evidence the assessment criteria required to achieve our qualifications.

Improve practical learning with our vocational qualifications

To support your adoption of Kickstart further, we offer a range of qualifications providing introductory skills in vocational areas.

We can also support you to build packages of relevant units to provide you with a solution for particular sectors.

Digital skills and qualifications

Some of our most recent qualifications have been developed to meet the needs of digital skills in the workplace. These range from entry 3 to level 2 and are available as awards, certificates or diplomas.
